Aged Canestrato Cheese

It is the most aged version of our canestrato cheese, made with sheep’s and cow’s milk, rennet, salt and lactic ferments. A simple processing, as per tradition, that gives this Sicilian cheese an authentic, savory and strong taste. At the sight, it has an intense straw yellow color, with the marks on the surface left by the basket.

Keep in the refrigerator at +4°/+6°
The product can be used as an ingredient in food preparations or consumed “uncooked”, as in the typical Italian cheese tradition.
Shelf Life: 150 to 365 days.
