Canestrato Cheese with Olives

The stuffed green olives, with their juicy consistency and their characteristic bitter taste, combine with the soft cheese of La Cava’s canestrato with olives. Like all of our cheeses, this canestrato cheese is also made with sicilian sheep’s and cow’s milk only, treated according to the traditional recipe.

Our canestrato cheese with olives lends itself well to being consumed uncooked and pairs perfectly with cheese platters with typical traditional Italian cheeses.

 

Ingredienti: Pasteurized sheep’s MILK, pasteurized MILK, stuffed olives (6%), salt, rennet and lactic ferments.

Origin of milk: Italy – 100% Sicily
