La Cava’s canestrato cheese with walnuts is made with sheep’s milk and cow’s milk from small farms in our territory, enriched with walnut kernels. The soft dough, flavored with large pieces of crunchy nuts, has a particular taste, sweet and slightly toasted, which lends itself well to consumption raw, on platters of cheeses typical of the Italian tradition.
Ingredients: Pasteurized sheep’s MILK, pasteurized MILK, WALNUTS (2%), salt, rennet and lactic ferments.
